| Win the LLS and the Grand Final.
It would of been our aim at the start of the season.
That is whats expected.

| For me winning Either the league leaders shield or the grand final would make it a succesfull season... But i'd love to know as well what will make this a poor/dissapointing season for some on here ?

| Winning the Grand Final would be amazing. But, personally, I'm more bothered about the LLS. We have never done it in Super League and never in my lifetime. I followed the Wire from 1990/91 season to 2002, then my teenage years took over and I moved about a lot so didn't follow Rugby anymore. I just got back into it this Season. I was there in 1996 (I think?) when Warrington lost the league against Wigan at Wilderspool in what was, quite literally, the last kick of the season. That is why I put more stock into the LLS.

I'm with wire78. Aim for both but winning 1 would be a successful season for me.

| Ideal - Win LLS
Beat Pies or Stains to win GF
Likely - Win LLS
Happy with - Doubling over Pies and Stains in Superleague, and being there to watch each and every minute

| I want to say LLS and an 'appearance' at Old Trafford. However, if we're all honest enough, surely we can agree that getting to the main stage and not taking the prize would feel a little deflating? Especially with the season we've had so far.
I think an equally important question would be, should we win SL this year, can it get much better? After years of tripe I'd probably have to retire - safe in the knowledge that I saw a great Wire side and that it could never be improved!

That would be something wouldn't it!
As for never improved, I meant more in terms of how much i've enjoyed watching us this season on a personal level.
The balance in playing personnel is pretty much perfect as far as i'm concerned and I've loved 99% of it.

LLS is the very minimum expectation really!

Yeah, theres no doubt we will be a top side for a while as we have all the required foundations in place. But for any given team to dominate would be a massive, massive ask, particularly for a sustained period of time.
If we won LLS and Grand Final this year, particularly with the style of rugby we have played, then it would take some topping for me.

| Bit of context needed, I think.
I agree that at this point in the season, and the position we find ourselves in, failing to come away with a Grand Final win will leave a sense of disappointment. Certainly if we fail to get the required point at Hull on Friday, it will feel like a major body blow.
However, let's be realistic, after all these years of being among the also-rans of Rugny League, if, back in January, somebody had said that we'd have had the season we have presently had, all these huge wins and great attacking displays, top 2 most of the year, then I'd have been mightily satisfied.
I agree a top of the table finish and a GF win would be the icing on the cake, and much deserved, after the style of our play, which is the best in the league to watch. But, ultimately, as a Wire fan, its just nice to be taken seriously as a contender and not constantly mocked as the eternal under-acheivers.
