I've just flown back from Menorca this afternoon.

Where is your resort?? I was staying in Cala En Bosch and there were several English bars there that showed the rugby.

I just saw that, do you think there is no chance of getting the game anywhere?

If you are staying in the above resort Toms Bar on the plaza near the shopping centre will show it if you ask as he will transfer it from the internet to 1 of his TVs he has around the place

Do you know how far away this is from where you were (roughly)

I have never been to Menorca so have no idea what it is like.

Hi WM,

It's definitely two bus journeys, Forcat to ciutadella then Ciutadella to Bosch. Probably about 40 minutes or so.

My hotel had BBC1&2 in the bedrooms so I would say that you can definitely get it over there.

I'd have a look in Cala en Forcat first before making the trek to Cala en Bosch

my parents live in crete and they can watch bbc 1 and 2 through there nova satelite. I know this because when they ring my mum bores me for 5 mins about strictly come dancing and other rubbish. Anyway Nova covers europe so just ask about a few bars and you might be in luck.

I've stayed in Cala n Forcat and there are bars in the square in which I have watched matches but they were on Sky. There are quite a number of bars, two opposite the waterpark ( Irish Bar ), which show sport ( I watched the Charity Shield in one one year but I cannot recall whether this was BBC ) and I am sure if you ask they will accommodate you

Sorry to hijack your thread but I'm in Mallorca when we play Catalan. I'm assuming this game is not on Sky but as Mallorca is a Catalan speaking place will they show it on local TV. I suspect the answer is no and they have no interest in Rugby but I thought I'd ask anyway.
