Got a ticket outside ATC/O'Malleys with the reason of no permit. Is this something new, they ticketed everyone. Is this ATC making some money or the traffic wardens trying to pull a fast one?

we had this discussion weeks ago when someone got a ticket...you r always welcome to park outside mine if it stops these little hitlers gaining more money out of the working man...no doubt the all new chestnut wire will feel deeply sorry for you and tell you what a criminal you are...

That someone was me + i'm not even going there as i got slated from the dogooders off here.

They also give out tickets to the unemployed.

i had a little giggle as i walked past said cars on the way to the irish club thinking a thread may have been started by the time i got home

No permit, you get a ticket.

As one of the so called do-gooders, I would like to offer an olive branch by giving a little advice.

Quite simply, when you park your vehicles, have a quick look around for any signage which may give an indication of the legalities of your actions.....These signs will probably give you a massive clue into whether you can expect a ticket...



Another bit of advice??....Well, quite a large area, taking in the St Peter's Way & surrounding residential parts (including O'Malley's), are permit holder only on matchdays.

One last bit of advice??....Perhaps it might be wiser, that rather than trying to save a few quid and run the risk of a costly fine, instead just park your vehicles in this area known as a CAR PARK....Clue is in the name...

are the tickets from the Borough Council? As far as I am aware the car park at ATC is privetly owned and so they can't ticket but can of course wheel clamp.

Feel for those who have got tickets but for Sunday games there is ample free parking in town . Not exactly on the HJ doorstep but the car parks opposite central station, cockehedge or Golden square aren't exactly that far too walk.

It only seemed to be the cars that were parked at O'Malleys gym car park. All the cars that were alongside Winwick Road didn't have tickets. That included the ones that were parked on the outer kerb - where I got caught last year!!

Thats unless somebody has removed them.........

O'Malley's has had clamping for years. Certainly since my daughter did karate in Evans House.

I love the whinging every time someone gets a ticket. Brilliant.
