| 3 year deal.
Disappointed we didn't appear to make a play for him.
Would have yhought he'd be ideal to strengthen the area that many on here think is weak.
Great signing for KR.

| Good player, shame he didn’t come back to finish what he started, but not on marquee money for me.

| I'm interested to see how he goes, I liked him when he came to us but I don't think he's as good as so many seem to remember. Most of his games were in the middle 8s for us, where anyone decent should have looked good really. That said he does play a position that we will need to recruit in this off season so a little surprising if we werent in the hunt. I'm willing to accept I could be wrong, I guess we will see how he does for Hull KR and I do think he will be a good signing for them.

| I watch the NRL on sky & have always watched out for Hiku - generally unspectacular but gets through lots of work, the NRL commentators really do like him, always saying how good he is.

| If he found living around here traumatic enough to bring on homesickness after just a few months, I'm struggling to see how he will endure 3 years in the end of the country that is Humberside....

| I have looked out for Hiku in NRL games since he returned down under and he has always looked like a decent centre. I was surprised he was picked for NZ in the world cup but thought he played well.
He will do a good job of replacing SKD and Hull KR.
I read today that Newcastle Knights are looking at shedding players off the cap. Looks like Bradman Best is one that might be leaving. I remember noticing him a couple of years ago, I think he was 19 and was built like a brick outhouse. He is one that could do a bit of damage in SL.

| In a salary-capped sport, it's hard to make definitive judgments.
Maybe we did make a play for him but his wage demands were too high.

| We did go for him, a while back I believe. HKR offering marquee money and sensibly, I think, we didn’t match that. I believe we expected Hiku to sign and him not coming may see the return of a prodigal passportless son??

Great signing for KR.'"
We offered him a contract at Xmas, which he provisionally accepted if the club would throw in a rented house. But his Agent received a better offer from Hull HR. It wasn't just the offer of marquee money that swayed him. He also wanted a guarantee he'd be the starting full back, which Warrington said 'no' to and retracted his contract offer. His recruitment would have been based upon him playing as a centre.

I believe he'll be a handy player in SL, but replacing Hull KR as a one man team might stretch his ability.

Sorry, forgot to mention he wanted a 3 year deal and Warrington only offered 2.

| He's good enough to consistently get a centre spot in the NRL, which is no mean feat, but he wouldn't really improve us as the strike centre we need.
When he was over here he spent most of his time indulging the cafe culture in Stockton Heath with Ben Pomeroy. I wonder if he's actually ever been to Hull? Maybe all the KR players live out of town in Beverley village, otherwise he's in for a culture shock.

I know it’s a matter of opinion but I find this statement hard to understand. I’ll be honest, I’ve not followed him in NRL.
This guy scored 11 tries in 10 starts or vice versa when he played over here. He was also picked as centre for a decent New Zealand World Cup team and scored when I watched them at HJ 4 years later. I personally wouldn’t drop Ratchford for his goal kicking alone but Ratch, P Mat, Greg Min and Conor Wrench probably won’t score more between them all season.
