Good 13 but not massively excited by that bench. Ashton either starts or doesn't for me.and the fireworks awaiting J Clarks first line break remain intact under the stairs. |

Well, that's a surprise. Wrench must have been stellar in his pre-season. I can't really see why they have put Philbin in the 13 as he brings such a lift to the team from the bench, which as MIAW says looks a bit anaemic now.

Only reason I can see for including Ashton on the bench is Ratchford’s versatility.

Re wrenches inclusion, it didn't get picked up last week, but does this indicate we're keeping Toby at left centre, for this year rather than moving him to accommodate inglis (when he turns up) |

That was my reading of the Leigh match. I guess the combination with Lineham is considered important. |

I would think yes. I imagine they have been training as a left and right edge so whilst he could certainly move, you would lose some of the understanding that they have built up in training ? |
