Has anyone got a idea when squad numbers will be announced.

Normally end of Nov early Dec I think. But obviously the season is starting later than usual on 11th March. So maybe first week of Jan? Going off normal announcements being 2 months before start of season - but I’m guessing.

Be interesting to see what number Widdop gets, i'm adament he'll be playing for us next year as i can't see an NRL club picking him up now. Unless we pay him off?

Last season the squad numbers were released 22nd Nov. With the season starting approx 2 months later I would guess towards the end of Jan this year.

Why should we pay him off, he wants to go then up to him or his agent to find a mug hmm mean club for him. If the the reason that he wants to be with his family then that’s fine but he can’t want to be with them that badly if he ends up doing another season here.

He can walk away if he likes without a penalty.

If anything he should be paying us to release him from the contract, players far to easily walk away from these ‘big deals’ and there is very little protection in place for the club.

Yeah and not get paid so he's not going to just walk away, i mean pay him off if we want him off the books to replace him

Goat farms have virtually become extinct in the UK. Back in the day most houses had a goat tethered to the back gate, or in their garden if they were well to do. These days the only time you are likely to see goat is in a stew when on holiday in North Africa. And even then you can bet your bottom dollar that they have simply thrown away the entrails...................... just as well Boris can read them otherwise we would be in a right mess.
