| I'd take him if he brought Tariq with him.

| Yeah I'd like us to look at Korbin Sims, hopefully if we are in for him Ashton can have a word with him.

Great news for us. Forty 20 pod mentioned a couple of weeks ago that they thought he was off to Catalan.

So Butler is official then?
I don’t mind Davis at the right price in terms of salary. I’m not sure about J Clark but I guess he’s here due to the Inglis thing.

How quickly they forget...I was wondering why a prop would be asking a rookie fullback for advice!

| Good news about Matt Davis, fills a number of positions if required and all to a reasonable standard.

| Glad about Davies, only in the Cats game did the commentators say he was off to Perpignan for next season.

| Yeah i'm happy with Davis re-signing good solid energetic player.
I'd leave Korbin alone though to be honest, he hasn't done much for a long time.
I love Sita but if these rules stay the same for next year he's not effective enough, he doesn't play enough minutes and the game has moved away from low minutes battering ram types of props.
Latu i thought played pretty well in his first 2 games and played alot more minutes than sita does so i'm surprised he's on his way out already.
But he clearly was a panic buy and i think Price didn't really want him from day one, and the fitness issue popping up again shows theres a clear problem. I was happy with what i saw from the first 2 games but onwards and upwards i suppose.
If Butler is definately signed i'd be very happy with that and if Sita and Latu Go that's more money to sign in other area's

| It also frees up an overseas spot....would be very nice if that was for Sezer to replace Widdop. Not that I want Widdop to leave but understand that's a formality. Sezer and Austin together would be wonderful.

| Sita seems a very likeable character but hasn’t done enough in his time with us. Latu...clearly wasn’t wanted in first place, pointless signing. The question is will anyone else want them? Will we have to pay part of their salary when they have gone just to get rid? I suspect we will struggle to offload in any circumstance.

| I'd echo most of the comments on Davis, whenever called upon he always puts in a good shift and seems to have a good attitude. Not sure he will ever be good enough to hold down a 'first choice' place in our 13, but he's a very handy player to have on the bench and in the squad generally. He's improved immensely since he joined us.
Very happy Currie is staying, he has continued his fine form from the restart, Clark is a solid player, will do the job asked for him and think he's a decent bench player to cover the 13 role off the bench as well as covering prop & back row. As long as he isn't on a huge wedge it's a decent result for us.
Don't really follow the NRL so not sure how good Sims would be for us, he's missed plenty of rugby with broken arms by the look of it since 2019, so there is a question mark there, but he was a regular NRL player before that, and St George seem willing to contribute to his salary, so might be an option for us. SIta & Latu just don't seem to fit the picture for us, if we run with Hill, Cooper, Philbin Butler plus one more with the cap space saved by Sita & Latu going, i'd be happy.
Hopefully we can have enough in the kitty to have Mamo stay on with us.

Budgets will be tight for lots of clubs next year, assuming we can afford to contribute to their salaries, might be a good option for some clubs?
