Needs to be done online and Sky will automatically restart your subscription when there is something to watch.

Anyone got sky sports and hasn’t don’t it, they will pause your subscription until sport comes back on. 0344 824 4450. Automated service. 2 mins. When asked say remove sky sports and they will then say do you want to pause sky sports. |

Why the need to phone up then?.. why can't they just automatically amend everyone's account that has the sky sports package on it? |

Have paused ours, but used the number on the Warrington Guardian Web Site. Tried 0344 824 etc. but kept getting cut off.
I used this number 0800 151 2747 and spoke to human. If there's no live sport come June, Sky will then automatically re-apply the pause. |

Because they're a business and will make money off the people that don't bother pausing it. A lot of people either won't know about it or don't bother ringing up, sneaky way to keep their money flowing. |

Some people are never happy. Sky are under no obligation to give people this for free, but are, for as long as there's little or no live sport on - technically there's still live sport on now - NRL games. BT Sport is offering the same deal: https://sport.bt.com/news/bt-sport-and- ... 4436646620 but aren't exactly advertising the point. I say good on Sky and BT etc for doing it straight away like this. |

Well I’m getting a massive discount on my Sky package, I’m not sure if you would lose that if you pause something and then maybe lose it when it all starts again. |

I ditched it years ago, saving £100 per month.
It just goes to show how much I watched.
SL/decent prem league games/2-3 golf tournaments
I was paying for stuff I've zero interest in, RU, tennis, darts, US sports, F1 etc.
Happy days
