With only Brown as a real halfback for Thursday, I’m guessing defences will be the key. Hopefully his short kicking game is up to scratch for Atkins.

We all knew Sita wouldn’t make it and Crosby will get his chance eventually. Still look light up front so I hope Hill is in the mood for the full 80.

He had his soulder operated on before the end of last season. At the last game of the season he was on the pitch after the match with his arm in a sling so it's no great mystery or secret.

I hope Dom Crosby can have a big season for us after the terrible personal tragedy he went through in 2017. However, if he remains not ready to play for personal reasons, I believe we should pay the balance of his contract and look to sign an alternative.

Don't think that is the issue. He's had a shoulder fix.

We're going into this season just like the last. Starting off breaking players in pre-season just like Ratchford & Patton last year, and playing patched up first few games. By then the loosing habit set in.

this is frighteningly familiar. Toby King admittedly got an injury v Salford but he's continually hurt. No proper cover for injuries

I've every sympathy for Crosby's situation but if the club would have handled him right the only injury concern he should have is a cauliflower .

It just takes Myler and Dwyer to be on a mission to prove a point and Thursday could be a nightmare.
