| Well if we win he is a Messiah, if we lose its why did u play Bateman centre and pick Heighington. In other words it depends on the outcome, personally i think he will go come what may.

| Either way he goes. Lose and he'll get the bullet, win and an NRL club will probably come calling...

| If he was wanted by the RL he would have been offered a contract by now. So to me, he will go.

| I like what he has done in the time he has been the head coach. He does seem to favour the NRL based players over the SL.
I think he will go after Saturday win, lose or draw.

| Its a strange thing. Under him we havent really improved. He has made some poor selections, he's alienated himself from half the SL coaches, he terrible in the media and for the image of the game, and yet if we win Saturday he will go down as one of the greatest England coaches ever.

| I'm not sure, up until this world cup I would have said get rid but his TV appearances have been much improved, we've got to a final when many on here predicted the quarters or semis and should we win he will have achieved something special. If he goes I don't think it's the end of the world too.
Bateman at centre brown in the squad and Heighington too raised eyebrows and split opinions but so far they've not really put a foot wrong and we've made the final.
Who would replace him is the question I'm not sure wane would leave wigan, Smith or macnamara again ? It's probably far too early to even think about Sinfield if he even has the required badges? Do we look for an English coach or look for another high profile Australian coach?

| He hasn't done anything so far to justify staying.
There is absolutely no reason that Tonga team should have been within 2 points of us, never mind arguably deserving to win at the end... they lacked organisation, and Australia would have beat them by 40.
People may point to Tonga beating New Zealand... this is the worst New Zealand team in living memory, with most of their forward pack missing for various reasons. A NZ team who were beat by *Fiji, who Australia then beat by 50 points.
Let's see how the final goes, but if we get comfortably beaten then his tenure has been poor. If we win then it will have been a success. But when there is only one other good team in the competition, a final appearance is the minimum that should be expected.

| I think he'll make his own decision to go regardless of what happens.
2018 and '19 are going to be Great Britain series so he won't be involved in those.
