I'd have Patton ahead of him but GO'B is not a ridiculous suggestion. There aren't a mass of halfbacks around and he's a player that can do a job in Super League.
Remember the laughs when Wigan picked up Matty Smith, after his spells at Celtic Crusaders and Salford, hardly in the great lineage of Andy Gregory, Shaun Edwards, Adrian Lam was he. But he has done an effective job for them.
