| What is winning us games this year, our play is still slightly off for big patches of games so what is it taking us over the line.
I have to say watching the last 5 mins we looked like we could play another 20 mins, Catalans blowing out their backsides at 60 mins.

| Well, Yed. I've said this many times this season.
It's NOT fitness. We don't look fitter than last year. These are RL players. They are not unfit. We've recruited (up to now) quite well. Other than that, it's the same side that coasted throughout the whole of 2015.
No. This is (imo) 100% attitude.
We look interested. At times, we look totally committed. That's the difference.
True, we let tries in. We even play 5h1te for parts of games (see Salford). But, if you apply yourself PROPERLY, THE SKY'S THE LIMIT.
Do anything half heartedly in life, and more often than not, you'll come a cropper.
One game at a time, Wire.
Forget about Wids on Good Friday. It's all about Cas on Friday.
Wilkies, HJ, then hopefully, a celebratory Penderyn Legend

| I think it is both fitness and attitude. It is no surprise that since John clarke has returned the players do look fitter and stronger. With the improvement in the squad the players do look more interested and look like they are trying harder. They also look a quite but group. They are digging in with each other and are playing with a smoke in there faces especially sandow. I think it Algoes hand in hand.

| its not just one thing but a 'perfect storm' of things that have all come together at the same time.
Sandow & Gidley.
Ben Currie and Jack Hughes playing really well.
Hilly playing his best RL in his career.
Our attitude is different.
Our fitness seems better than other teams.
We have belief and a never say die attitude.

| Interesting thing about fitness.
I wonder what Clarkey is actually doing this year compared to what was done in the last few years.
If we exclude last year, are we fitter than when we were winning CC's etc?
It might be that the guys we've now got are younger and developing.

| Thing is we seem to turn it on around the 60 minute mark, plus we always seem to defend more so, we are lookong sharper and defending more, surely people can see that the lads are not blowing like say Catalans and Salford were.
That fitness is keeping us in the game for 60 and winning it for the last 20.

| Wont be Clarke (and I'm a fan)
He was at Widnes for years using his fitness methods, yet they did nowt. He leaves, and now they're top, playing good rugby.
Surely we were physically fit, when we scored 2 tries and took the lead v Salford, but then shipped in 24 UNANSWERED points, yet came back
Believe me, it's mainly attitude

| Thing is Lefty, if after 60 mins one team is teaming with energy and the other blowing out their backside that is going to make a huge difference.
Why is it our 'enthusiasm' levels go through the roof at the back end of games?

Of what I've seen
Leeds. Threw the kitchen sink at us. We took it on the chin. Not Ali's rope a dope, but won by attitude.
Hull KR. Bright start. We switch off. HKR still offer nothing. We find the right gear, and out class them.
I missed the Wakey game, but if you're struggling v Wakey, you've got problems.
Salford. Brightish start, but switch off totally for 40 minutes, showing ABYSMAL attitude (and tackling technique). Finally show interest, and blow Salford away. Salford's fitness wasn't questioned when they took Wigan all the way, the week before.
Tonight, we remained competitive throughout, though not playing great. Cats have an issue with tiring. Such a big pack was always going to struggle, against a lot more mobile XIII They almost threw away a big lead v Leeds, a fortnight ago. I was always confident tonight, even when we went 8 points behind. Again, for me, attitude.
Smith (and Agar) and the team are earning their stripes.

We're only talking about what it is that's seen us come back to win two games back-to-back, fella. Is it fitness character or composure? There's no bubble!
