Bizarrely, Paul Rowley has announced that he has resigned from his job as Leigh RL Head Coach for " Personal Reasons"
Very strange, considering the imminent start to Leigh`s 2016 season.
I hadn`t heard any information leading up to his departure.

Some on the Leigh board they are alluding to the fact that Rowley has thanked the players, fans and the like but omitted the chairman from his farewell, could be something there who knows.

Leigh are the Jeremy Kyle club of Rugby League unfortunately. The Chairman is an idiot. If he introduced lie-detector & DNA tests for his players I wouldn't be suprised.

Thought he was a cocky little squirt. I was always quite well disposed towards Leigh until he smirked away on Sky about how other Warrington players were interested in joining Higham there (hope he left the window open for 15 minutes after telling that one) and many of the Leigh fans I saw at the Challenge Cup game seemed to have caught a dose of his chippiness.
