Yes, its disgusting, and can't be condoned.... but:

a. It's unlikely to threaten anyone's career

b. Was far from the only incident in this round of matches that should be looked into by the disciplinary team.

What, not even biting, or gouging, punching an unconcious player, or foul play that results in serious/career ending injury ?

It's a shame that two sets of great fans who I actually think get on like a house on fire and have friendly rivalry and respect for each other have to watch there players scrap it out in a bad fashion.
As for England I hope he gets what he deserves. A big ban for a nasty act... If he is proven guilty.
It may be a case of spraying it, not saying it.
Time will tell but I hope the onfield hatred which could be boiling up for the future doesn't affect our fans relationship with each other.
