I think I'd rather reintroduce Laithwaite and Myler v Wakefield than at Catalan. I'll go for:

Russell
Evans
Atkins
Ratchford
Monaghan
Bridge
O' Brien
Wood
Higham
Hill
Currie
Westwood
Harrison

Myler
Asotasi
England
Laithwaite

Ormsby to get a week off to think about what he did v Widnes with Glenn Riley missing out as well.

God help Richie if he plays and anyone else makes a mistake. It's bound to be his fault somehow...

A bit harsh on Ormsby IMO GHF, if you used that logic most of the team would be on the 'naughty step'

Maybe, but TS seems to do that with the younger players. Give them a run in the team then give them a week off when they've not had a great week before. Plus we're getting to the business end of the season and I'm unsure whether Tony will see him as a regular starter for the playoffs.

For me, we must now play our strongest team every week until the end of the season. No one rested unless we get to the last game or so of the season & can't improve our league position.

But Ratch has been great when playing 6 with Bridgey at 7, so why change this just to 'punish' another player.

Russell
Ormsby
Monas
Atkins
Evans
Ratchford
Bridge
Hill
Higham
England
Westwood
Currie
Harrison

Myler
Laithwaite
Wood
Asotasi (straight toss-up between him & RIley, take your pick)

We need to make sure Laithwaite, Myler & Wood get as much game time as possible ahead of the semi, hence the bench. Same three should all start at Catalan, which is a game I'd expect to be as important for fitness reasons as competition points.

I would not field a full strength team at catalan with the cup match week later.

For away matches there is no tougher place to go to than Perpignan, Leeds on the other hand have a nice gentle stroll on Friday night against already relegated Bradford. Mcdermott can rest as many as he likes and still get the 2 points.

And that's my point why leave our game behind,we need people to be fresh for the cup not burned out by the heat out there.
