| It is good news that the game is selling well. I feel envious of all those who have their hands on their tickets already. Ordered mine last December along with tickets for a number of other World Cup games. Have spent 40 minutes this morning waiting on the phone to ask someone from RFL Ticketing where my tickets are? and was told they'd been posted out last Thursday. Post arrived a little while ago, still no tickets . . .

Baffitos have Premier Sports so I imagine they will be showing all the World Cup games. Likewise with the Connie Club if you have membership.

| Was thinking it must be more than that? Not 100% sure on stand capacities, but you can no longer buy tickets for the West (cap 4k) the north (3k) or east (2.5k inc corner). That's 9.5k and the ticket I got off the RFL site for the south stand yesterday was numbered 2030 so assumed there was approaching 12k sold. Unless they have restricted the numbers in the cheaper west stand to only a couple of thousand....?

Cromwells on Bridge Street is a very rugby friendly bar. They'll be showing the match i presume. That's where i'm heading anyway.

| I dont no what to believe. I went to the club shop yesterday and they said there are tickets still available for all stands. I got 4 tickets for the west and when the conformation email came through they were numbered 1206-1209 so thats still a fair way from capacity for that stand

| Wilkie's Tavern has now got Premier Sports for at least the next 12 months and was showing the NZ v Cook Islands friendly on Sunday. The good thing about that pub (aside from 14-hand pumps of real ale) is that RL takes priority over all other sports and they will be showing every single World Cup game live, even if they clash with the football or RU autumn internationals, etc. They can show Sky at the same time on separate tellies, but they will definitely show every RLWC game live.

I went for tickets on Friday & i was told the west stand was sold out. I was also told that the special offer involved buying tickets for the west stand which ,as it was sold out, meant the offer had finished. I was told the next best offer was on north stand tickets which i went for because they were cheaper than in the south stand.
It makes you wonder what goes on in that shop at times.

| At least 500 of the crowd are dance guests as proven by the news article on Wire website and the fact that my tickets in the East were allotted as "dance guests".
Have they had to pay?

I'd imagine that "Dance Gusts" refers to tickets being held back for purchases via the discount code of "Dance". There were certainly tickets in "sold out" areas of stadiums that became available when using this code.
Martyn Sadler on twitter now suggesting that the game is heading for a sell-out. Has there been a full-house since the corners were filled-in? I'm thinking once against Saints.

That was 2012 when we got 15,000 for Saints. I think the allowed capacity may have crept up since then (as they relaxed safety concerns), but it was essentially a full house.
