I didn't think I would hear myself say this, but I hope TS doesn't play Bridge at the expense of Evans. Bridge has made far too many silly decisions recently for me. At his best, he is certainly better than the current evans, but I shudder when he gets the ball these days.

Currie is ill btw

Just found that out myself, lost 10kg through illness. Very bad luck for him at a time when he was a regular in the side. Probably wont see him til next season now.

Interestingly, RL World had Bridge as fourth choice centre for their team of the month for rounds 21-22 (Leeds, QF and Hull KR). Moot point really but raised by eyebrow on the flight back from Catalonia.

A few minutes ago Currie posted a picture of himself on twitter looking well, so hopefully he is on the road to recovery and will be back in time for our next game.

My concern for these playoff games, are that they are likely to be very tight, with one score or mistake deciding the match.
That is where the Bridge miracle offload, or kick to the corner can scupper us.

Good to hear about Currie, I am already looking forward to next season to see how much he has come on.

I think this could be one really exciting play off series, I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but it really could go one of several ways. Hopefully Huddersfield and Wigan will set the bar for the rest tonight!

Any stato's out there know Currie's original weight? Didn't look like he had 10kg to lose!

May be worth giving him the rest of the season off playing duty and get him hitting the gym to try and add these 10kg back on and some more at that aswel. He could do with a bit more timber

96Kg last year, 100Kg at the start of this.

If he has lost that much weight I would be surprised if he started another match - unless we have some bad luck with injuries ?

My team is slightly different to the one I posted earlier in the week in that Rhys has replaced Riley. I have had a think & just feel Rhys offers more in defence and the same in attack.

Currie is now ok weight nearly back on playing for 19s this week

I would go along with that aswell.

Evans is not the player Bridge is.
