So from checking the article against the 2013 squad topic at the top of this forum, that leaves Tyrone McCarthy as the only first team player off contract at the end of this season. Have I got that right?

That leaves Tyke, with a contract ending 2013, the rest of the 1st team squad are all signed up for 2014 and longer.

Plus three ex U20's from last year, whose current contracts we do not know (Ben Evans is signed until 2014).

Looks like tyke is leaving, can't say that I'm upset about it, he's barely been used the last 2 years anyway, with players like currie, laithwaite, bridge, Riley all co ing though I'd say we don't need him

Tyke played 22 matches for us in 2012, and also does quite a lot of community work behind the scenes. If he does go, we should be a bit more respectful for a guy that has worked hard for the club.

I do wonder what goes through people's heads sometimes. Tyke is a fantastic ambassador for the club both on and off the field and I hope he stays. If he doesn't, I'll remember him for a superb 2012 when he was one of our top 5-6 players and wish him all the best for the future.

What's the consensus re Chris Riley? I was half expecting him to leave at the end of the season? Will a new winger be bought in next year. Otherwise there is no competition for his place which can't be right. Williams despite the raw attributes isn't really up to it.

I think giving Micky Monaghan a new deal is a mistake. He has been a stand out player for me since Smith switched him to hooker, but this season he has fallen below his own high standards & has spent a lot of time in the stands.

I think his knees have gone & he won't play a full season thus blocking a space for Brad Dwyer
