True. Huddersfield will argue that conditions played their part, which they did but they were the same for both teams.

Can't see how Hudds can blame the conditions on them taking two points after 10 or so mins then hardly threatening our line agin in all evening. Their pack was bullied and through following a great game plan we came through with ease. Myler minus the few early drop balls was fantastic again tonight. Bust wished we pit more height on the kicks following a set. Still winners are grinners.

A very professional display form the Wire tonight. I was a little concerned in the first 20 that we were playing dry weather rugby and making too many mistakes. We stuck with the game plan and it paid off.

A big defensive effort to stop the Giants pack and hold them to only 2 points. Some cracking tries considering the conditions.

I am abroad and had to use my iPad to keep up with the score. But from the comments, what struck me about tonight's game was the fact that we are still winning without Briers. And it sounds as though Myler is really stepping up to the mark and acting as the playmaker. That is perhaps even more important than the win itself.

Big mention to the Huddersfield fans who turned up especially considering that the weather east of the Pennines was far worse.

Briers appeared to be directing a number of plays. He was constantly running behind the play the ball/line shouting and pointing. It was like having a 14th man.

Very good win against very good opposition... Both sides earned their money playing in that last night...
