Hi guys,
We're currently making a Warrington Wolves documentary that will be finished for the new season, and we're looking to interview some fans who can talk about their memories of The Wire. Mike Stevenson, Alex Murphy and Ocker are some of the people appearing on the documentary, but we want to get the fan's view as well.

So unusual that a sensible topic has degenerated into a childish and pointless spat.
Anyway, back to the documentary.
I've had the good fortune to deal with Fuzzy Duck in the past and their work is excellent.
The trailer to the Wolves documentary will make the hairs of every Warrington supporter stand on end and if it's any indication to the quality of the final product, then we're all in for a huge treat.

For those who haven't yet seen: https://vimeo.com/56879903 Wigan do get a mention of sorts.
We are designing a Wire to Wolves timeline, tracking the club and the town's fortunes from the inception of the club by seven blokes in a church in Bewsey Street in 1878 right through to the Super League club we know today.
What we're trying to do with this exhibition is to celebrate the legends of the past and to educate Warrington's new residents on the passion and intensity of the sport but also to Warrington itself. Thousands of Warringtonians weren't born here and have no affiliation with the place so hopefully this will help to address that. But this really is all our story and the exhibition will hopefully run for many years so we want to get as many fans as possible to write in with their memories of watching great players. Be it the speed and wit of Brian Bevan, the hard head of Des Drummond or the tenacity and spirit of Mike Gregory, reading an anecdote is more engrossing than facts and scorelines.
Hopefully we will inspire future generations, hopefully I have inspired some of you to get in touch and email in.

I watched that recently after hearing a guy on the radio do an impersonation of Graham Taylor which was the best impersonation i have ever heard .....

now then this is a test a real real test!
That Taylor documentary was brilliant, still the best sports "all access open" documentary I've ever seen. Unfortunately the victim of that success was nobody has been able to make one since. In the atmosphere of our failure to qualify for the World Cup it made TV entertainment out of a good honest bloke who had been willing to allow the public to take a look at what international football is really like. |

The Founding Fathers met in 1876, so you need to add a couple of years to the start of your timeline  Great idea though, and pleased that Neil D and the gang are paging forward on these heritage points (just wish the formation date stuff on Wire2Wolves would get updated to remove the incorrect
1879 references).
