| Decent game, solid performance, no injuries, happy days. Loved the Widnes fans creaming their knickers when they got within two points of us.

| Carvell played well, a few big hits. Woody was solid and a good try from Higham after earlier mistakes.
There were quite a few others however who looked lightweight at times when falling off tackles.
Overall though not a bad first hit up.

Wouldn't worry about Widnes fans getting a bit excited. I'd worry more about the gobe element of your support who were booing and heckling one of our players who was knocked cold , went off and didn't return. Never come across that before!

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Poor form if true.
However, wouldn't worry too much about it, I recall a gobe element of one team's support jeering through a minutes silence for the Queen mum years back. Can't remember who that was....

I cant believe you've asked that twice when a) It's in the thread title, and b) It's the first thing you see if you could be bothered to just press the link.

Sadly both episodes are true but if memory serves it was one bellend shouting anti wire stuff during the Queen Mums silence, today there were quite a few giving the bird.

Not quite

But I think we're in agreement broadly - both (and by that, I mean all) sets of supporters have their own bell end element. We all need to remember that when we're climbing the stairs in our ivory towers.

| These claims of wire fans heckling a player knocked out cold seem to be fairly unsubstantiated considering the Widnes player out cold was at the other end if the pitch. I'm assuming you mean that one as I can't remember any other player being knocked out and didn't hear a peep.
I can also tell you first hand that it was definitely a lot more than one Widnes fan interrupting the minutes silence back in 03. But hey, lets not have facts get in the way of things.

Your right. Short memories in Widnes though, what about when Myler got injured last Boxing Day. Your fans acted like they won a Super League game

You got the year wrong it was 2002, but like you sat lets not let facts get in the way of a good scum fans debate.
I remember in the 1980s, Widnes fans being racist to Dessie Drummond. How about that then Widnes fans!
I make it 3-2 to us in the scum fans debate!
