Sorry if this is old news. Talking to a wigan fan today and he was telling me that the rumour mill around wigan is that Woody has signed for them for next year. As i havent heard anything at all about this i was wondering if anybody else had?

As far as i know, he's contracted to Warrington for 2013.

So I would say not impossible, but unlikely.

I very much doubt it and hope its garbage, he's a loyal decent guy I can't see it.

Not really bothered one way or the other. He's been a decent, mainly reliable player, but his departure wouldn't leave that big a hole in the side, would it?......

He'd be replaced with little fuss and I'd be more worried as a Wigan fan if they chose to sign a rival's fourth best prop.

He was class last season, bit dodgy this (been taking pointers off Bridgey).

A QUALITY prop, who has NEVER let us down.
People often say how Smith has rejuvanated Briers' career, but have missed out the obvious one.
Throughout the Cullen/Lowes (and late DV2) eras, Wood was a model prop, great tackler and metre maker (but sadly, his injuries held him back). He earned call ups to the GB squad, but always seemed to pick up those bad injuries at the time.

Smith comes, and Wood's ball handling skills are FINALLY realised, and for the last 3 1/2 years, we've (well I have, at least) enjoyed a renaisance of the ball handling prop, rather than just a human wrecking ball.

When he finally leaves our club (hopefully for a while yet), it will be a sad day !
