Its BS if you ask me, some coaches take their lead from those nerdowells in the football world. Plan for Maguire, anyone else in his position that happens to play wont be as good, so nothing lost in prepping for him.

Yes it is not as if Tony Smith has ever done anything like that before.
Fancy saying a player is injured and then he turns out to be fit and plays.
FWIW I think McGuire is injured and will be a loss to Leeds.

To be honest, McGuire is a fine player, but the two who are capable of winning a cup final for Leeds are Sinfield and Burrow.
