tomorrow sees the start of the olympics (i know the footy has already started )is anyone interested and which events are you looking forward to.for me it all starts proper when when the track and field events get going..i see already theres a cock up involving putting up a wrong flag at the womens footy in glasgow no doubt there will be many more..

I'll be watching, and I am most interested in any sport where the winner is determined by who ran/rowed/cycled/swam fastest, jumped highest/furthest, threw furthest, scored more goals/points, etc.
I am not the least bit interested in any sport where the winner will be decided by a panel of judges who determine who was best, or any sport where 'Artistic Impression' have any bearing on the result (gymnastics, diving, etc).
Particularly interested in what Danny Boyle has come up with for the opening ceremony. There is no way we can 'out-Beijing' Beijing, but I'm sure we can produce something just as spectacular in our own way.

I can sit and watch pretty much most of it. I'm obviously looking forward to the track and field, but I'm especially excited for the basketball, being a big NBA fan 'n all.

Always liked the Olympics..Quite enjoy taking in sports that aren't shown much on tv.. Such as Diving,Basketball and Hockey... Oh and Jessica Ennis...
