Ask in restaurants and pubs near where you live. Or go to Connexions near the golden gates, they have quite a lot from what I've heard...
If you haven't already, write a CV and send it off to job websites.
Good luck!

do a bit of research in jobs where you have an interview so you can impress with doing some homework

also do not rule yourself out doing any hours for anyone
always be smart promte for interview visit the place if poss first

for big firms find out who is charge of HR and address the application to them

i had to rule out a dozen applicatants today for a vacancy at work for a parttime job due to them saying they could not work this or that day

[b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag. [b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg

If you're going to send a CV in (which is a good idea) then make sure that it's no more than 2 pages, is printed on clean A4 paper in black and white and doesn't contain any spelling mistakes or typos. Nothing says 'I'm lazy and I cut corners' than a crap CV.

Good luck.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union. www.squadbuilder.co.uk:1883.jpg

It has been particulary advertised, but, there is a bloke, Gideon Osborne, who is desperate for all the assistance he can get.

Apart from Purple Alki try KFC, BK, McD's or your local supermarket

It's been fun.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_44480.jpg

Just ask around, knock on builders yards or warehouses (lesser known companies) offer to sweep their yards or be a general dogsbody/gopher.

I had a cracking weekend job that kept me fit at 16, i asked around on the Trident Ind est at Risley. There was an office furniture company there and i would sweep around on the Saturday and demolish returned furniture with a sledgehammer to fit in the skips on the Sunday. Loved it, better than any gym that was.

Be confident and just ask every company you can physically find as well as leave them a CV.

My wife had a CV in recently from a person applying for a role as in-house legal advisor (solictor) to join her team.

She claimed one of her strongest points was "an attention to detal".

Maybe she was being ironic/funny? If so hire her on the spot. If not...probably best leave it.

I love things like that. It's a bit like people who say they are 'proffessional' in everything they do.

My fiance had an email request recently from someone looking for journalism work experience on the paper where he works. 4 paragraphs, no fewer than 27 spelling/grammar mistakes. An absolute belter. I think they've framed it.

She should have at least had the applicant in for an interview just to check whether its her paperwork or her teeth that are immaculate.
