In an interview with the Australian Press Johnathan Thurston complains about the crowd on Friday night:
"They were always into me all night the crowd, I don't know what I have done to them, it was bizarre,"
I was surprised and disappointed to read his comments. Personally I thought the crowd showed a healthy respect for both teams and I'm sure I speak for many fans when saying that it was a privilege to see these great players in Warrington.

"But I don't mind it's all part of the game. It's good fun and it creates a good atmosphere.

Also whats with these sycophantic Warrington fans talking like Thurston is some unearthly player the like of which has never been seen in Warrington before.
Long time fans like myself who remember seeing Allan Langer and Andrew Johns in Warrington jerseys will say Thurston Shmurston.

| He's Australian, so therefore he's used to the more sedate atmosphere of the NRL, where chanting is pretty much taboo and appplause only permitted when a team scores.
And for him to say this in public gives the impression of someone a bit rattled, not sure what by as I doubt it was England's performance that rattled him.  |
