| Apart from the obvious stuff.
1. We don't have a lot of out and out pace in our backline apart from Ryan Atkins when he decides to turn up which isn't too often.
2. Chris Bridge Isn't a stand off but thats something the majority of fans knew anyway.
3. Matty Blythe is ok in certain games but overall i'm not convinced by him as a centre.
I'll leave it at that as i don't want to upset the Myler fan club too much, i'm sure others have their own opinions.

Apart from his trademark support tries i thought both him and Chris Bridge were virtually anonymous with ball in hand, Michael Monaghan looked our only real threat in the creativity department and King with his running.

1. Wasn't Grix at SO initially?
2. We have no out and out pace period.
3. Wigan are a stronger side than us on balance.
4. We cannot cope without Briers when it counts.
5. There are better days to come this season.

| Lack of pace is hardly a problem.
Hodgson, Myler, Atkins, Joel Monaghan are all quick enough and they have been shedding tries past teams all season.
I don't see who we should add that would be realistically available, to the back line, to make it better.
I don't think we have learned today that we struggle without Briers, that has hardly been a new fact for anybody who has watched Warrington for a long period.
But I think the point that Wigan are a stronger side than us on balance is true. This year we have been in superb form and they have been overall in patchy form for me, but they are top of the league, and have knocked us out of the cup.
This will not be the last time we meet Wigan this season in a big game though so there is time to put things right.

| Maybe you need to be ruthless like Wigan have been this season, have someone clamp Tomkins so he can't move, then have an 18 stone forward dive into his knees.

| What have we learnt - to win big games, against the best teams, it helps to have your best players playing - we had three missing today, and lost Solomona early in the 2nd half - but quite simply, as many other teams have learnt against us this year, you can't give a 22 point lead away and expect to come back - we nearly did, but it was just too far.
On the bright side, I'd booked a ferry to France at 11pm on Saturday 27th Aug for a family holiday - now changed to earlier in the week, so a longer holiday!!

Ridiculous post. Solomona was moving and the tackle was entirely legitimate.
It's a shame that Solomona got injured, no-one with even half a brain likes to see players getting serious injuries, but this kind of thing happens in rugby unfortunately, it is a contact sport.

Not having a pop but is there a reason why no wigan fans clapped solomona off? Maybe the sam thing at the squat?

Funny you should say that. Thats exactly what Melbourne storm did to sinfield in the wcc. Sinfield came off in that game and spent the next 2 months sidelined with a dead leg! Wigan Have done it a few times. Against Leeds too. Something madge has defo brought with him. Melbourne are still doing it to most NRL pundits disgust.

The pies might not have done that to solomona but they do do it as do Melbourne. Wigan tried it on bjb at headingly when Lima got done for it. Second tons of pies and others have half a brain after the Danny maggs reaction last season! Just see my sig material.

That's why we are optimistic that it's not a 2 horse race for the finish.
