| 1. 2 weekends off prior to playoffs.
2. Myler showed great maturity today, was first to Hodgson when he dropped a bomb.
3. Best game ive seen Cooper have in a wire jersey
4. Money saved from 3rd consecutive wembleytrip!!
Wigan were the better team today,22 point start for anyone is a tough comeback, our defense lacked it's usual biff. For once hodgson, m monas and Benny were below their usual fantastic levels.
Fantastic game and great advert for rl, that 3rd man in tackle that did solo needs banning.
Let's hope we can have retribution at old trafford! Heads up boys!

| The tackle on Soloma was fine.... Coley was second man in, and Solomona was still moving so he hit his legs.

| I think our defence let us down and panic rugby but easily remedied stuff i'd still feel confident if we played Wigan next week.

| we didn't have the rub of the green today and the turning point for me in the second half was when we were on a roll and lost solomona and gave two penaltys
away. great game and our fans were fantastic. we did really well considering we had no briers, morley and losing solo. king and myler were excellent today and
i thought cooper was an outstanding 3rd.

This.
We had 3 key players out, didn't get the bounce of the ball today, lost Solo just after half time when we were getting on a roll, and matched Wigan for the majority of the game.

Yes, but I don't see what a player can do.... if Solomona is walking forward, and Coley is running backwards his naturally going to have to dive in.
It wasn't like the Lima one, where two Wigan players had a player held still and he ran in and dived at his knees.

As a wigan fan i have to say i can understand TS being frustrated that he lost Solomona as he was having a decent game but there was absolutely nothing at all wrong with the tackle. As you point out Solomona was still moving and Mossop had deliberately gone high to prevent him offloading and was just waiting for someone to take his legs before the tackle could be completed. I cant understand what TS expected to happen in such a situation. Does he want to outlaw tackling below the waist incase a player gets injured?

| From the way the Wigan fans were singing it is nice to know that the Challenge Cup is now no longer seen as a Mickey Mouse competition !
Anyway best team won ,"Well done!" & good luck for the rest of the comp.

I was only joking anyway. Some people seem too serious and it is banter. Get a warning for having a laugh and i never say nasty things.

| No positives from conceding 44 points at home, we were absolute gash and I hope each player hurts as much as me having to watch that rubbish.

Think thats a bit harsh I can understand your sentiments as I too am hurting form the Wire seemingly losing their way just when we thought they were good enough to cope with any situation but to say they were gash is well way off.
Wigan took two length of the field breaks that really made the difference. Yes they beat us good and proper but then again we did have two of the best forwards in the league (regardless of age) and as we have been saying all year arguably the best pivot player in the league off the field. We matched them once we had woken up but as its been said on here already 22 points to Wigan is way too many but we nearly got there and a different rub of the green could have seen us running away with it too.
Dont be glum or too down we'll bounce back and roar again you wait!!
Well done to Wigan, Keep your heads high Wire boys and come back bigger and better next time around.
