Hull KR at home we might have lost given the kicks Hodgson missed (missed 3 out of 5).
Catalans at home we equalled them in tries, but Hodgson missed 2 kicks.
Yesterday he missed the first; otherwise we'd have got a point.
Three points on our total and we'd be well clear now.

Goalkicks wernt the reason we lost these games on paper we were destined to win, the ageing team is why we lost, failure to back up with two games in a short space of time.

are you seriously suggesting that hodgeson cant kick? what do you expect him to convert 100% all season? the kicks that he has missed have been exceptionally difficult the one yesterday from the touchline a very strong wind against in torrential rain! i think we have the best goalkicker in the league.
have you ever tried goalkicking it is not easy and for him to be converting at 93% success rate is immense

Hodgson is useless, we could have had Danny Tickle and when Sinfield sorts his house out (very slow market in Leeds) we'll be fine.

There is a serious point to this. Sort of. There were many claims that we needed a consistent goalkicker last year - I think the only game we lost because of goalkicking was St Helens at home. Leeds away possibly. The year before, Wakey at home was the example often quoted. Well, barely half a season this year and you can see how easy it is to blame it on goalkicking (or Williams failing to chase back when Hull make a clean break, or Mathers' pass in the play off last year).

You can't look at those figues in isolation though. Bretts percentage of successful kicks is even better when you consider how many tries we score.
