| Happy new year to 1 and all, and welcome to this years betting thread, and another year of profit.
May aswell start with an overpriced speculative bet.
Liverpool to be relagated. 35/1 betfair. Take away the top 4 and West Ham, and the rest are utter dross, negative and boring. Liverpool are priced on name alone.
|
|
|
| Take away Hodgson and Liverpool would be nowhere near getting relegated.
Mind, my pre-season bet was Newcastle to go down

| Can't see it happening to be fair, even if Hodgson remains in charge for the remainder of the season. 35/1 is too high though considering the clueless idiot we have at the helm.
Had a good end to last season with NZ winning the Four Nations. Hopefully be another profitable year of NRL betting, no real interest in the long term markets just bet on individual games.

as for up and coming season take whoever plays quins on the handicap.

| Does anybody do the Football Accumalator's and have any tips for tomorrow, FA Cup weekend. I've been doing them every week for the past six months and have won only once, £96.

Just doing English teams i always seem to lose so i have started doing "goals galore"(both teams to score) at Betfred which comes in now and again. Another thing i have started to do is pick the top two from each English division to win and then add teams from around the world that hardly lose such as Anderlect, Barca and Madrid.
Made an exception for the fa cup games however and gone for..
Sunderland ( v Notts county)
Watford ( v Hartlepool)
Chelsea ( v Ipswich)
Bolton ( v York)
Tottenham ( v Charlton)
Burnley ( v Port Vale)
Huddersfield ( v Dover)
Norwich ( v Leyton Orient)

| Millwall, QPR, Brighton, Hull, Sheff Utd, Southampton, Reading, Cardiff all to beat opposition from higher divisions in tomorrow's FA Cup 1st round.
Odds of 5050/1 so will probably never come off but you have to dream.
Also got a few quid on Adam Hammill first goal scorer in the West Ham v Barnsley game @ 11/1.

Millwall, Brighton, Hull, Southampton and Reading are all favourites to win their respective matches...
Burton Albion @ 5/2 to beat Middlesboro and Barnsley 5/1 to beat West Ham stand out for me tomorrow.
