| Who would be everyone's final candidates for the Man of Steel 2010?
Mine would be:
Pat Richards
Adrian Morley
Keiron Cunningham (Just because I'm sure he's going to win it!)

| Pat Richards
Ben Westwood
Outsider Joel Tomkins
Assuming they come from the Dream Team
But probably Cunningham as it's his last year will be in there.
Can't see much past Richards as much as it pains me to say it

| Real dark horse who perhaps deserves to be there is Rangi Chase

I have a feel like some people that Cunningham will get it.

George Carmont is exempt from the vote as he would win it hands down. I've been brainwashed by the Wigan masses that he's better than Matt King.

No chance. Dobson has performed better IMO.

Richards will edge Westwood because people will take more notice of his great kicking and 29 tries
Cunningham should not win it as he is not in the dream team i think there should be an award given to him to highlight his great career however

| What Richards has done at Wigan this season,is an achievment but i dont thik it warrants him as MoS.My money would be on Moyley.A outside bet would go on Roby again.

| I mean, what is the 'criteria' for Man of Steel exactly? Richards has made a supeb contribution to his team's success this year. On points scored therefore he will win - but then being a good goal kicker is surely not a Man of Steel? Tactical kicks in the field of play are just as difficult, but these cannot be marked by 2 points. Of course his tries have been great this year too - but is that not what a winger is there for?
Tough, consistent, inspirational play would throw up names like Westwood, Morley, Graham (she spits his name ha ha) - playing week in week out etc - in my book that is a Man of Steel.
When Hodgson won last year I was puzzled but then I did think he had pulled off many try saving tackles and returned the ball superbly, a bit more than just good kicking.
I know who I would vote for based on what I think is a Man of Steel. But then he didn't win it last year, so....
