| Chris Riley take a bow son. Two try assists (one for Atkins one for Westwood) and also prevented eight points being conceded, two by chasing down Richards by pushing him wide to make the kick angle difficult then six by forcing Farrell to knock on when surely he would have scored.
Okay for a 'not good enough' winger.

| I agree completely. There is an argument for the chase of Richards being the game breaker - Richards goes under the posts, Wigan go 2 points clear having overturned a 10 point deficit and have the momentum and control of the game; as it was the chase forced him wide making the kick difficult and at all square we still had the upper edge and belief that one score would win it...

| It was a fantastic chaseback. Being the pessimist that I am lol, the only downside I would say is when he tackled Pat he grabbed him with his arm over the ball. If he'd have grabbed him with his arm under the ball, he may have had enough to hold him up over the line.
Still, it's gone now and we won the game so it didn't matter at the end of the day, it's just me being pi$$y!

| Riley did exactly the right thing. He wasn't trying to hold him up as he had no chance, he was trying to strip the ball. Huge effort.

| Last night's performance has got me on the edge of believing a place has to be found for Riley in our first choice 13. His improvement in consistency of performance over the last 12 months has been a joy to be seen.

| Nice problem to have. If Bridge was fit, Smith would have a real headache.

| 22 tries in SL so far says an awful lot about his season.

| Great performance from the lad. The chase on Richards was spot on and 2-3 yards earlier he'd have kept him out. Totally agree that his chase kept Pat out wide and saved 2 points from the kick.
Well done Chris......

| from my view at the top of the north stand i had a beautiful view, Riley came from the opposite corner and to see his actual speed was fantastic, soon as pat picked it up and it was Lee Briers chasing i thought try then from nowhere i was thinking or should i say actually saying aloud at the time "he's gonna catch him, he's gonna bloody catch him" if he'd saved the actual try though that would have been try save of the season.

| shown last night that he's good enough for the big occasion and probably won us the match (richards and farrell).
we don't need to find a place in the 13 for him he has got his wing position locked away 22 tries (wire's top try scorer) speaks fot itself.

| And his strike rate is 1 in 2. I'm baffled there is any doubt about his value to our squad/team.

Ah, very good point. Never thought of that.

| His pass for Westwood's try was great, perfectly timed and a perfect run from Westwood too. The try saver on Farrell and pushing Richards out definitely changed the game completely. His partnership with Atkins is working well, twice that little kick was executed and had Riley not been blocked off in the first one then he would've probably scored.
