In 2006 saints won everything. In 2007 they won the CC and lost in the GF.
Potter took over in 2008 - there was only one way to go (and he's not gone far).

So who was the last Saints coach to not win a trophy during his tenure? Pretty certain it's never happened during SL and there's a fair chance of it not happening during Potter's reign so would that not class him as a failure in the eyes of Saints fans?
