| Belongs to Warrington!
Who would have thought that a few seasons ago?

| If only Paul Cullen had understood the importance of defence, instead of having an obsession to be the new St Helens, then we could have been enjoying this type of season a few years back.
For all the praise that Tony Smith has rightly gotten, the simple fact is that all he has done is got the team to carry out the basics of defence, and also added some much needed discipline to the squad.
Is that genuis or does it just show how poor a coach Cullen was?

This is one thing that always gets my back up. I think the title of Genius is used far too loosely in today’s world. Makes me cringe when you hear people state Ronaldo is a Genius because he can strike a great free kick, or Tiger Woods is a Genius because of how far he can hit a golf ball.
Now don’t get me wrong I think Mr Smith is doing a great job and more......But Genius? "genuis or does it just show how poor a coach Cullen was?'" ]

It shows how good a coach Tony Smith is.

| It does help playing Salford in the Magic weekend.
Take those results away and who would have the best defence (and attack).

Genius takes many forms...
Not applicable in this case tho.
TS seems to be a great motivator and man manager, defence is not just about saying 'come on boys work for each other, pick your man.'
they have to believe in TS and each other and the direction they are going, without that when the lungs are busting and the legs are giving out, they wouldn't go the extra mile.

We didn't play them at Murrayfield. Take the Murrayfield results out of the equation (for all teams) and who would have the best attack and defence.
Perhaps if Wire had made the top eight last season they may have had a more difficult game.

No but you have played them? The only difference is that it was played in a bigger stadium.

Take result at Warrington and we'd be top of the league. Unfortunately the laws of universe make that impossible.

perhaps if we'd played less games in the challenge cup last season we'd have won the grand final!
if's buts and maybe's don't really come into it,
if your team had not fiddled the sallary cap perhaps you would have been relegated.. who knows?
rogue.. you really do enjoy trying to put the cat amongst the pigeons, but you do it so transparently.. so please , please take your opinions elsewhere!
we have the strongest defence in the league... get over it old man! your living in the past
