| What is your best game ever watched at the Halliwell Jones Stadium?
For me it would have to be Leeds when Andrew Johns was over, i think it was a sellout and the atmosphere was amazing, best i've witnessed at the HJ,what i'd give for that day again.
Anybody have any others?

| I remember the 22-22 against Bradford on the Tuesday night in 2004 being brilliant.

Wow 6 years ago
I remember a small group of us in the west stand right in the middle of all the Bradford fans behind the sticks. Deacon I think went for a drop-goal near the end, was quite close could feel the Bulls about to start celebrating but it missed, cue us bouncing round like we had won, cracking game

| The Johns debut.
The worst? For emotion, the next home game where we had no reply and a half injured Johns.

Gary Hulse, playing at full back for some bizarre reason. Usually got MOM though...
Stand out games for me - The Johns Game, Wigan with the Nat Wood hattrick (the place was really rocking that night!), Wigan this season & Cunningham's last second try - the game had everything that night, atmosphere, endeavour, skill, determination & sheer sheer drama and emotion at the end.

| The Leeds-Johns game. But I remember it more for the Nat Wood farewell speech at the end...........a really emotional night.

| The Nat Wood hat-trick sticks out for me, when he scored his third and ran down the tunnel at the west stand and came out the other one

| The first two that sprang to mind for me when I read the title were the first two mentioned in the thread.
The Bradford game in 2004 was the first time the HJ really felt like home but the Johns game V Leeds has to be the highlight so far.
That's been eclipsed by three games away from the HJ in the same period of time though - Headingley in the 2006 play offs, then last season's semi and final for obvious reasons. Hull KR in the quarter probably would have too if I'd gone but I won't count a game I only watched on telly.

| As mentioned, Bradford 2004 was the first time the HJ felt like home. That game had it all and the place was bouncing. But Joeys first game in 05 against Leeds was a truly special night. Other great games with slightly more disappointing results were Saints 2005 and Wigan this year.

| 1. The very first game against Wakefield - 2 pint pots, a shiny new ground, a decent side and a victory.
2. The Johns debut - pure theatre start to finish

| When we beat Wigan and Ben Westwood held Brett Dallas up over the line in the last minute, somehow. I think it was the game that Lima scored and went off spinning his discs to the South Stand.

| Wigan game in 2006 where we won in last minute with a Briers penalty. I went home gave the wife some good loving and 9 months later my little daughter was born.
