| Did anybody, like me, have the misfortune to be within the ear shot of the bald gentleman who sat (stood) on the backrow of the middle of our end today? He spent the entire game screaming at his fellow Warrington fans to "effing sing" and stop being so "effing boring". He was, frankly, a complete joke. He compounded his cretinous behaviour by singing the ridiculous Wembley songs. Admittedly I spent most of the game laughing at him but if he's reading this, can I implore him to try to behave a bit more like a grown up and less like a complete and utter tool pipe. You're an embarrassment to our club.
I appreciate that this barely warrants a thread but I wondered whether it was just me.

| That was me! No just kidding - didn't hear him fortunately. It is the players jobs to get the fans going and vice versa. Atmosphere wasn't great but it is difficult in a temporary stand with seats and no roof I guess - plus we were only in the lead for about 5 minutes in the whole game.

| I was unfortunate to be sitting right in front of said person and his mates. I did not find them at all amusing.
Their language was disgusting throughout the game. They were abusing Warrington fans, the Hull KR supporters and most of all Ian Smith. They were a disgrace to the Warrington Wolves club and its supporters, I just hope I do not have to sit anywhere near them at any future match. When asked to tone down their behaviour by a fellow Warrington fan they turned their abuse to him.
These were not so called young chavs but middle aged.

Well said Roy
I was at the game today and some of the behaviour off a small minority of our fans made me embarrassed to be associated with the club.
Hope we can nip this in the bud before it grows.

To be honest I wasn't really bothered about the atmosphere, it was more that he had annointed himself as some sort of SuperFan who felt empowered to scream at people to behave as he was. Fair play to those that want to sing and shout. However people are just as entitled to sit and watch the game, have a quiet word with their mates when it suits, shout for the odd penalty and leave 5 minutes before the end if they want. All this crap about what it means to be a supporter is just that; crap.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if I go to the game and watch in silence that's my perogative; it's got nothing to do with s like him.

| If it is who I'm thinking of, he was at FC last week and seemed to go to both with the intention of a) standing close to the (most likely to be)vocal section of the support, b) using this as a basis to vent his rage in any direction and c) in short, 'kick off'.
Both weeks I have stood close to him and his friend and tbh, they look like they have crawled out of the woodwork in an attempt to relive their misspent youth on the terraces and concrete combat zones of the north of England. For the most part, they are an embarrasment to themselves, but, worryingly, they are an embarrasment to fellow supporters and the club and seem to stand near young males who look to be of an impressionable age. Thankfully, most of them found him embarrasingly humurous, too, but it only takes one to light the blue torch paper and they could find themselves in a situation due to his antics.
If it is him, his first actions when getting off the coach in Hull was to run up to regulars outside The Crown and shout some inaudbile abuse at them with a hand gesture or two.

This is turning into a witch hunt . I can't say I noticed him but did hear a fair bit of abuse being directed at those leaving early (myself included) which possibly cam from that direction.
Like you said everyone should be allowed to support the team as they want rather than being abused by your own set of fans.

| I was sat in front of a charming young male Warringtonian. He didn't shut up all game and had the girls with him hanging on every word. The problem was that he did not seem able to make a sentence without punctuating the spaces between words with obscenities in a nasal, high pitched, drone. He also wanted injured players to "die" or "drop dead" and called his own team players "d*ck heads". Oh, and bless him, he even managed to find time to redicule a disabled Hull KR fan in a wheelchair.
His parents would have been proud.
