At the start of the season I thought Salford would finish bottom of the pile.... But it would appear that quins will be bottom... Which prompted a friend to say 'this Seasons quins team will go down as the worst SL team ever.'
maybe a bit harsh... Any other outstanding candidates for the worst SL team of all time?

Workington Town, totally fell to pieces in late 1995 after several good players left and went on to win only two and draw one in 1996, being relegated with 5 points. Your current coach was the stand-off!
Other than them, Halifax in 2003 and Leigh in 2005.

Quins seem to know something we aren't aware of yet with regards to francise applications. Their players aren't that bad that they should be hammered every week, yet they manage it. Not good to see the expansion clubs all beached at the bottom of the table.

Halifax in 2003 were easily the worst, they shouldn't have been in the league that year, the club was bust and couldn't afford to run a side. They were struggling to have enough full time professionals to make up a 17 some weeks. Some people said it was good they could give some opportunities to young up and coming home grown talent, but it did them no good getting flogged every week, and most of those players disappeared into obscurity apart from the two players who did get talent just got noticed by other clubs (the Grix brothers)
