Let's be honest - no player is going to say "actually the pre-season has been a bit soft really, it was much tougher & better preparation when Cullen or Lowes were in charge"

They have definitely got top notch facilities at that Uni campus now.
They don't need to go between Beamont, Wilderspool, Leigh, The HJ, and gym's around town now. That along with training and coaching staff who are very knowledgeable is leading to this great pre season.

you only have to read Richie Mather's twitter page each day to know that the training is hard but the players seem to be loving every minute of it. I urge you all to start to read his Tweets as it gets me fired up for a great season ahead too.
Richie was bigging up the firepower that we have in attack today

I agree. Some of the stuff he puts on there is boring tosh but some has been quite interesting. His comment today about firepower really made me think that the team have some genuine belief in what they are doing. |

Interesting to note the comments about training with a ball(rugby) in hand.
I understand that is the same way as Saints have trained for years.
Let's hope it improves our handling skills.
Can't wait for next season.

Why any team would train without a rugby ball in their hands is beyond my understanding - doesn't matter how fit or fast you are, if you can't hold onto the pill you ain't gonna win anything...
