I'm having a nightmare buying the kids new 2010 shirts, they fitted well in their ages last year (9 and 12) they are now 10 and 13 and neither the age 10-11 or age 12-13 fit them as they are to small (and my kids are actually small for thier ages), the next size up is small adults and they are an extra £15 each, which is ridiculous! How can my boys age 10 and 13 be charged an adult price for thier shirts (£45) its as though the tops have been made smaller so you have to buy an adult size. No where else when they are buying clothes do they buy clothes at an adult size, at this price £45 for a kids top they are much more expensive than premier league football shirts! In my opinion (and I'm entitled to it) RIP OFF and the club should seriously look at what must be a sizing issue by the manufacturer of these shirts!

have you rung the club shop, or possibly middle management and vented your opinion to them?

It could help in preventing a problem like this in 2010.

Have you raised the issue with someone at the club?

And by that i mean someone in authority and not just the sales assistants in the shop.

If what you have said is accurate then there is obviously some problems somewhere. Normally the club are quite good when it comes to genuine issues like this.

Yes I have emailed the club (email adresses on the main Wolves webiste) and await their response and I see looking at an earlier topic (ref: new kit merged), that I am not alone...

my lad is 6 i got him the 8 yr old size and it fits just right but i would urge anyone to buy at least two sizes up as they do seem small in relation to previous kits, the quality is good(away top) but the sizing is an issue with the way kids grow he'll be lucky if he gets the season out of it.

would agree with that...just picked up my son's shirt, he is 6 in a few days and his very skinny. Had to buy 8-9 years and I have just compared it to some of his aged 5-6 tops and it is even slightly smaller than them...can be quite confusing...and if you get a name on the back and then find out the size is wrong...you are screwed

I bought two ladies fitted shirts and both are much larger than last years so had to change them both for smaller sizes. Seems the opposite problem to that of the chilkdrens shirts.

IIRC the last two years we've had problems with sizes. 2008's shirt was tight around the neck, while 2009 in comparison was very loose and looked baggy as a result.

Unless the club are swapping the tags and labels around, then surely its ISC's fault.

I hope no one complains about the adult sizes, I think they have got those correct this year, don't want to end up with stupid baggy necks again.

People in my work think the shirts look smart (even a Widnes fan)

I went to try the shirts on; tour of the stadium and saw the Challenge Cup. icon_cool.gif
As for the shirt, The sizes are appalling but the fittng is great. Well compared to last season's shirts anyhow.
