According to BBC Look North there could be a statue erected at Wembley near to the Bobby Moore one, of a famous RL Personality.

Who should it be ?

Greg obviously gets the emotional vote but Alex Murphy is the only option for me.

Michael Monaghan for his outstanding game last season or a Statue of Vinnie in the Feckin Power up stance. OK not a statue by maybe a picture then near the bogs

Sean Edwards - probably near the railway line to keep the kids away.

A little gargoyle of Shaun on each corner of the ground would be quite appropriate. Seriously though, Shaun Edwards, with his Wembley record, is the only choice.

Shaun Edwards would be my second choice but in my opinion he is a Wigan legend whereas Alex Murphy is a rugby league legend.

I do acknowledge the bias in my opinion though...

Edwards has to be classed as a rugby legend (of both codes now) - his heydeys at Wigan coincided with their dominance at Wembley, who comes close to his Wembley record?

Can see it being bloody Offiah after "that try."
