| According to BBC Look North there could be a statue erected at Wembley near to the Bobby Moore one, of a famous RL Personality.
Who should it be ?
I would support Mike Gregory

| Greg obviously gets the emotional vote but Alex Murphy is the only option for me.
Consistent brilliance at Wembley.

| Sean Edwards - probably near the railway line to keep the kids away.
If the BBC has anything to do with it you'll see Eddie Waring's likeness...

| A little gargoyle of Shaun on each corner of the ground would be quite appropriate. Seriously though, Shaun Edwards, with his Wembley record, is the only choice.

| Shaun Edwards would be my second choice but in my opinion he is a Wigan legend whereas Alex Murphy is a rugby league legend.
I do acknowledge the bias in my opinion though...

Edwards has to be classed as a rugby legend (of both codes now) - his heydeys at Wigan coincided with their dominance at Wembley, who comes close to his Wembley record?

| the famous rugby league images of Wembley to me are
Offiahs Try V leeds.
Hanley running slightly sideways for the try against Halifax
and before my time Fox's missed conversion "the Poo-er lad"
Sean Edwards may have played there more than most but he isnt iconic in any way shape or form......
Hanley for me by a mile....(a slightly Camp hand on hips statue but Hanley never the Less)

kin jesus wept........I guess you never saw Hanley play then...
he won a World Club Championship,
4 Challenge Cup winners medals,
3 Championships,
1 Premiership,
4 John Player Trophy Winners medals
and 4 Lancashire Cup winners medals.
Ive not even mentioned his Man of Steel awards, lance todds or golden boot awards.
thats probably not far off Warrington's roll of honour for its whole history.....
but go on fill your boots and nominate Richard Henare or someone
Hanley was the best player I saw and was a whinging niggling get as well which adds bonus points
