Why have both players been left out of the Ireland squad
Hard to beleive when both players been in great form , especially Harrison , although i have heard rumours Smith is trying to push Ben towards pledging his future to England as smith wants him in those squads in the future

Would have thought they'd be dead certs for that squad.
Even taking into account the 'incident' I wouldnt have thought that would of stopped them, Lee Smith still played for England last year.
Have they got a hearing when the tournaments due or something?

All done and dusted the town incident.
Surprised neither were in squad but in a way glad as this is Bridge's first full season in a while and Harrison was carrying injury in last few games.

I must have mis-read the squad list on BBC text as I thought I saw Harrison and McCarthy in the names. Thought both and Chris Bridge would have been nailed on for selection. Previous post about Ben Harrison's England chances is probably right though. Presume Carney would have figured if he had recovered from his arm break.
