Yo Dudes,
I was wondering if any previous 'New' Wembley visitors could tell me what the lager situation is inside the stadium. Are the queues big and is there many serving points for the amount of people that will be wanting some?
I have already braced myself for ludicrous prices.

Various bottle bars etc around the concourses and a champagne bar if you are in Club Wembley.
Service was pretty quick from what I can remember

it was all pints when i went to see Oasis last month with the exception of smirnoff ice which was poured into pint glasses
£4 a pint, £4.50 Smirnoff ice. Loads of bars with 12 pint pourer machines so service is not too bad |

| According to Wembley Stadium website, there are:
688 "food beverage kiosks", and
2618 toilets.
"Kiosks" don't accept cards.
Or £50 notes - some of our more well-heeled followers, take heed  |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

It is very expensive inside the stadium. The best place to go is a small bar near the train station or slightly into the town and there is a great spoons pub where most supporters go, its a great atmosphere.

I wish I could, I love going to the big games of the year whoever is playing, but I can't really afford it. I would of made the sacrifice had Wigan got there but I will just watch it on the tele.
I am quite gutted because as I have said on other threads, this final will be one to remember like 85. Can't wait. |
