Have to agree.
I've not always been Lee's biggest fan but we are a worse team without him. It's a shame so much pressure has been on him as our only real playmaker.
He is a big game player and will try things, think on Sat he will either be a hero or a villain. Depending on whether his plays come off.
But he certainly deserves to play in a major final, despite what others may say I think he genuinely loves the club. |

John Woods was the same in the 1989 semi final against Wigan. He had never played at Wembley. Let's hope Lee can go one better.

I know there is next season where, hopefully, we will be far better after a pre-season under Smith, but I can't help feeling that this could well be Lee's last chance of a final. After so narrowly missing out on a final at the start of his career at Saints (dropped for a fit again Goulding for the final), it would be tragic if he were to miss out again now.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Celebrations like that are not for semis. Whoever you play in the final should you win would take that as an advantage. |

He will deserve it if he contributes to a winning performance.
Clearly he has never done this in the past and thus has never deserved to be in a final, i suspect that the same scenario will occur tomorrow. |
