| When it looked like I would be coaching Warrington Wolves in 2001 I was looking at who would be captain. Now that isn't quite word-for-word, but it isn't far off.
the foreword was written by Shaun Edwards.

If I recall we went for Kelly then Widnes got promoted and he turned us down. Then it was Edwards who was thougyt to be using Warrington to get a better deal from Union.
Then we snapped Anderson up from Leeds.

Not like the interview with family and friends at the end of every chapter?
Dean Sampson's autobiog was my first and, probably, RL favourite. Can't seem to find it now, though, which is a bit of a choker as it's out of print and £15 on amazon.
Anyone read Jamie Rooney's or Joey John's book? I also reckon Sean Long's will be an interesting read.

Waited two months for Johns' book turn up, but just couldn't get into it. Wayne Bennett's second book is a good read.

| I came up with Joynt's title for his autobiog "the quiet man" so that is another reason to have a read.
"Dont die with the music in you" is a gem, I am sure everyone involved in RL professional and semi pro and amateur would have bought or have atleast read this book by now, it sure is full of wise words, like "the" and "yes".... i got Wayne to sign my copy when i met him a couple years back, he said he enjoyed writing and would love to do more.

| Mike Gregory's book was a great read, he was a right character and the way he fought the illness and tried to get back to coaching was inspirational.
Maybe Tony Smith should read the boys the chapter about how he says he was treated by Dave Whealan to motivate them before the match on Saturday.
