Darlings of Super League:

Top performance for mine.

Was the only one keeping his head early when we were playing poorly, and his range of passing was excellent.

We were well off the standard we have set, and yet still won easily. I was amazed by Hicks being able to outpace Shenton and Owen, I didn't think he'd get there but am really glad just to see him on the field. The link-up he put on with Mathers on our own 20 was superb and set up the momentum for the excellent Vinnie Anderson try that essentially wrapped it up.

Westwood is off his game at the moment, and it's a shame to see because he, more than anyone, deserves to enjoy how we're playing at the moment.

Rauhihi was excellent, really answered his critics I thought.

Improvement needed, 7/10 for mine.

As a team, generally OK, plenty of improvement in us though. Still too many mistakes and penalties, however we backed up well from last week.

Clarke has been very good in recent weeks IMO, I thought he was excellent last week, and very good again tonight. At the moment he is one of the players that I look to to calm the team down when they are getting over excited.

I also agree about Rauhihi. After last week he took some stick, but some of his offloads today were first class.

Edit: I disagree slightly about Westwood. I thought he did some cery good stuff, made some great hard yards, and some big hits, he just made one or two mistakes. A slight improvement and he will be back to his best.

An absolute liability....An accident waiting to happen...I hate to say it, but Westwood would be the first out of the door for me, to be replaced with somebody with at least one brain cell.

All well and good, he gets away with it against average opposition like Cas, but in a big match, with trophies at stake, he can't be trusted.

I told you on here at the beginning of the season. Signing Higham was a mistake, you didn't need him. Clarke and Monaghan should have been your hookers.

Bit to be fair, you were wrong.

Higham has been outstanding for us.

Monaghan, I'm still not convinced about, but he has been getting better at 7, and has been a key part of a team on a great run of form.

Signing Higham for 9, was much easier than going out and signing a very good 7 to replace Monas. And Higham is British.

Personally think Clarke should be deported to Widnes.asap.He is rl's answer to Ray Wilkins.

Would that be the same Ray Wilkins who won 84 caps for England?

The guy has got talent but can't use his brain at times. I would agree with you but TS has selected him for england so i can't see him going just yet

I thought Clarke was good. Like a lot of the team in that there was nothing spectacular in attack but in the main very efficient in defence. He did some good things tonight.
The sweeping passing moves that Phil Clasrke used to love so much are gone but I am buzzing from our sort of workmanlike manner.
I think Westwood could do without playing the full 80 for England next week. As Bradford are without Solomona in the second row maybe we will not miss Westwood as much as we will miss Morley.

Great desire in defence is good to watch. We must be averaging less than 20 points agaisnt per game now (Maybe if you take out the game in Edinburgh).

Anothe good 2 points.

Possibly because he doesn't possess a brain... icon_confused.gif

His enthusiasm is fantasic to watch, but his tackling technique isn't....I cringe everytime he comes charging in, neanderthal-like, to put in one of his big hits, which usually end up round the opponent's head.

1st try conceded today was down to him solely, he will never be able to get away with that against a more dangerous opponent.
