What are people's opinions on this.

Although most of the team were pathetic for most of the game, were only 2 games in and i don't think that booing is the answer, obviously it makes people feel better and they pay there money etc etc.
One bloke next to me turned around and smacked another bloke for booing, i mean for god sake what's that all about.

Never boo myself , but defend the right of everyone to vent their frustration how they feel(as long as its legal).

Maybe booing is the only way to get through to the ostrichs running the club.

I boo'd because that was PATHETIC.

I personally won't boo the team. Firstly because not ever player on the pitch deserves it. Secondly because it's hardly constructive.

In the same vein though I will only hang around and clap the team if they deserve it. I'm not going to mindlessly applaud them if they've played awful.

thats exactly what I do...I agree booing is not constructive.

I think total silence is much more powerful.

I dont know if its constructive or not to be honest. They needed a bomb up their s tonight, and if the coaching staff cant get the message across the paying fanbase will.

Booing is not my thing and personally I think as a group of fans we are way too quick to start booing. However when you get served up the dross we were tonight it is difficult to criticse people for doing it.

As a Wigan fan, I really do feel your pain.

Maybe we should form a mutual sympathy society for 2009?
