Just got my ticket for the Wigan game and was surprised to see it was £21 compared to £18 for last years fixture.

That's quite an increase considering the financial state of the country. There has also been a substantial increase in our season tickets too.

The RL needs to be careful and not price games out of the reach of the average fan. Otherwise we could be seeing protests like have been seen at football grounds recently, and empty seats.

£21 to watch 2 of the best sides in SL go at it, good value imo.

I thought Warrington were playing Wigan.

Only a slight hike, it would be more concerning if they had risen solely for this fixture. We don't want to be going down the same route as football.

I remember not so long ago it was around £15, no wonder Wigan Athletic made a profit this year.

In the past they have done promotions, 2010 was cheap as chips because it was 'The Big One 2'. Hunslet have quietly gone down the 'category A/B/C' route this year, and it would seem they have based it on who brings the most away support. Not in the spirit of the game! I have no problem paying £21 to watch one of the best games of the regular season though.

£21 isn't too bad, but it's a bit steep when Wigan are doing a deal for an adult and a child for £10 in the East stand. They are handing a load of vouchers out in the Wigan schools.

Cheap compared with Arsenals most expensive seat at £124

They're only doing this for their biggest game of the season, the rest will all be a tenner, to reflect the quality of their team

Either that or the extra £3 a ticket is the Tomkins trust fund aka (The please don't leave Sam fund)

The east stand at Wigan ,is that the Wigan supporters stand ,the one with a pie crust for a roof ? So i can get me & my grandson in there for a tenner ? Don't know if i could stand the mind numbing W-I-G-A-N W-I-G-A-N all match though !

Wigan away is my very favourite fixture of the season so for me £21 is cheap as chips.

I am sure everyone who reads this forum will have already gone to at least one Wigan away game (& proably many more) but if you haven't get yourself a ticket the atmosphere is fantastic with around 5,000 of us in our stand

I will second that, can't wait. Getting the train over from Hull in the morning, home and changed then over to Bank Quay for a few in the Berkerley and some tea before the game. It doesn't get much better, lets hope for a full house!

Keep your eyes peeled for the Warrington born Leyther in amongst you! That's not going to be a W***n shirt i'm wearing!

Do the maths then try to think if they can truely justify a 17% increase in a time when most of us have either below inflation (CPI ~2.7%) or zero pay rises for the last few years......

Will have a leyther with us, who now refuses to go to Warrington due to most people's inability to differentiate between a Leigh and Wigan shirt! Once had a lad stood for about five minutes at Odsal in 2010 trying to tell him his team had got knocked out at Headingley the day before...
