Just looked like the usual eccentric refereeing to me, wasn't great for both sides.

They weren't. It was us not respecting possession that cost us.

Get real, we were the better team end of. You held down just has much, and we got penalised for the couple of times we were offside.

Yeah, happens all the time. Like when we beat Saints and Leeds back to back early last season, and when we beat Catalan away then Wigan at home the next week towards the end. Are you always spot on with your posts?

For me, you offload the ball when you get your body turned around and you can see your own man. If you're two or three scores up then maybe start the no-look, chancy off-loads. And to be honest I don't like seeing these out-the-back flick passes ever, they might come off once a game and that's it.

However we're trying the no-look, chancy off-loads and the flick passes all the time. At 0-0, 0-6 and 0-22 we were doing it, we were doing everything wrong.

Appalling offence tonight and I think we've got away with quite a few results this season, as I don't think we've played well once yet.

We were shocking, and if we'd carried on the way we did in the first 40 I'd be calling for some big names to be dropped. As it is we at least showed a bit of pride in the second half. It was still a thorough trouncing, but one we can't be surprised at. We've not looked interested all season and eventually a team with enthusiasm was going to hurt us, Wakefield nearly did it and Saints could have really put us to the sword tonight.

I think Mick Monas is WAAAAAAAAAAY off the pace and I'd really like Dwyer to be getting on the bench and getting some game time with it. Our pack needs a rocket up it, the amount of go forward we're getting off them is embarrassing but really, they just need to watch a couple of clips from last season and remember how we played then!!!

All in all, maybe this is the best time to get a boot up the backside, I'll be very interested to see how the players respond from this. If it's not positive, there should be some of them booted out of the side for a few weeks to get the hunger back.
