| Embarassing comment on the Guardian website.
Have Warrington not got a really highly rated fullback in the youth system? Signed from Bradford? Why not give him some experience rather than shuffle someone else from another position?

Not embarassing really. Why promote an untried youngster ahead of other established first-teamers perfectly capable of playing there? I'm sure plenty of youngsters will get a chance on Boxing Day and yes, one or two may force their way into first team for the first match but if there is only Hodgson missing then you'd expect the first few 17s to come from the squad numbered players.

| chris riley should be your future fullback he was immense back end of last season. if he doesn't get to play for half the season again i wouldn't be surprised to see him leave. plus as a wigan fan he annoys me as much as sam tomkins does for you wire.

LOL its Warrington when did you last see a good player come out of our academy.
We will probably sign an ageing past it as usual that's the Warrington way. Do you have any fullbacks at Saints that have had more yesterdays than tomorrows?

Why do you post that after the posts where I'm not even trolling? Warrington signed a fullback from Bradford (Ben Helliwell?) who is meant to be really good. All I'm saying is why not give him a run?

Yes but we have two with hardly any yesterdays and an incredible number of tomorrows: Tommy Makinson and Nathan Ashe. Both have already provided cover at fullback when Wello has been injured. Makinson did so in the GF. If Wello's achilles problem does not resolve itself in time for the start of the new season, Saints fans know that one of these two players will be at fullback.

Because he is a winger.
Jordan Burke is the u20s full-back and quite a good one but as the Guardian article says at present we have 3 better options available within our first team squad.
So whilst I've took the effort to explain to you can you explain what the "embarrassing comment" was and why.

The embarassing comment was the one questioning the validity of Leeds' "Champions" tag. I don't need to kick off another discussion about the same topic, but you'll realise why it's a daft comment when Wire win the Grand Final.

Right; I thought you meant a comment in the actual article. Therefore based upon your statement relating to the comment afterwards revised mark is 10/10.
But your query relating to full-backs in the u20s is still 0/10. Thirty seconds research even if you don't live on rugby league messageboards would indicate who Warrington u20s full-back was.
Did you notice that Warrington's non-existent facilities that you was mocking the other week are to be used as a base for one of the Works Cup Teams (don't be suprised to find its a major nation). Which country is going to be based at Cowley High School?
