IMO i dont think we need him as Riley has had 2 solid seasons in the team now and is not look on as a 'liability' and if we get an injury penny now has the experience from widnes so he can cope better in super league

Yes we do need him ,Penny imo will be no better than when he left but I hope I am proved wrong,remember he hasn't been recalled because he is a better player than when he left he has been recalled because we have a lot of injuries if we didn't he would still be at Widnes and we saw the level they are at last night so it hardly takes a class player to shine in crap does it !NL1 is Pennys level SL is a step to far for him imo but as I stated earlier I hope he proves me wrong !

I am not wrong about Bridge or Briers ,Briers is inconsistent in his performances and is at the wrong end of his career ,Bridge is only a stop gap at centre and will probably be replaced and go back to being a back up player next season !
yes they have both improved under Smith but so have the rest of the team,and yes I still believe King is a better winger than centre thats my oppinion and I will stick to a time when I think differently .
Briers has been a good servant to the club I wish he was 10 years younger and had Tony Smith coaching him for longer he would imo if TS had coached him for longer been one of the best half-backs in the world not just super league which imo has poor half backs compared to AUS whom have better half backs in every team than we have in any team in SL ,we have a shortage of quality half backs in our league as a whole and end up bringing in Aussies who cant make the grade in aus or are at the end of their careers

Briers has been excellent this year, under Smith anyhow. Very few of his performances have been below par, very few.

Personally i dont think King is quick enough to be classed as a winger. His best position is centre.

He's not exactly a classy centre, in a no cap world i'd have him on the wing, where i think you'll see him next year if the rumours on atkins are true
